Topsham Pool will close for the summer season at 9pm on Sunday 13th September 2026

Now the plant room has been updated the plan is to have cold water swimming through the winter of 2026. Please watch this space and Facebook for more information as we have it

We have repeatedly been asked to provide lane swimming sessions and over 60s sessions so in response we trialled these ideas during term time. Due to the popularity of lane swimming and sessions specifically for the over 60s we have extended this trial throughout the summer

There are different capacity numbers depending on which session you attend – Inflatable session = 63 in the water, Family float session = 73 in the water and all other sessions = 83 in the water. This is to ensure the Lifeguards can see everywhere and keep our swimmers safe. Thank you for your understanding.

Please note that the pool is cleared 10 minutes before the end of the advertised session time. The pool is closed in between sessions

Please note that the vending machine is now coin and card accessible, so please bring £1 coins or your card if you want a drink or snack. Only Children aged under 16 years are allowed on the Giant Inflatable

For carers attending with a person who is registered as disabled, there is no charge. The lifeguards’ prime concern is the safety of swimmers, so making them aware of a person’s disability is very helpful.

There is no booking system and we will be operating on a first come first served basis.

Please do not telephone to book a swim for a public session as the receptionist is unable to do this.

Please note that the Tuesday and Thursday evening session times are 5.15-6.30pm.
